I know what your first question is going to be. And the answer is NO, I am not pregnant again! (For those of you who don't know, I have four little ones, ages 6 and under, and I am taking a break right now). So now you are probably wondering why I would try out Premama, Prenatal Vitamins. Well, I wondered that myself, and I learned that you don't have to only be pregnant to take it. Premama is also great is your are trying to conceive, and are nursing. But even if you don't qualify for any of the above, consider that some doctors and organizations suggest all women ages 15 to 50 take prenatal vitamins every day, as about 50% of all pregnancies are unplanned. That makes sense to me!
So what is different about Premama than any other prenatal vitamin?
- Premama is vitamin drink mix. No huge pills that can make a pregnant woman nauseous.
- It's all natural.
- Only 6 Calories.
Premama is complete with all the key prenatal vitamins and minerals that help reduce the risk of some birth defects by 70% and promote healthy fetal development. Check out all the nutritional facts HERE.
The Premama Vitamin powder come in small packets with the option of taking 2 packs in one serving or splitting them up during the day. It is recommended to take them with 6 oz of fluid per pack and consuming within 5 minutes of mixing.
I took Premama as I was recently still nursing my daughter, and like they suggest it would not be a bad idea for all women to take prenatal supplements. Though I don't usually have problems with pills, I think it's great that it offers women another option to take their vitamins.
