Ever since I reviewed Dry Idea the first time, I have been using it because I really did like how well it worked and continued to work.
When I heard from Purex about reviewing their new product, I was definitely willing to review the New Dry Idea AdvancedDry Fresh.

As many of you know, I love scent in my products, and I was pleased to see that the Dry Idea roll-on deodorant smelled great!

Schick Hydro Silk® Razor Review

I know it's winter for a lot of you, but here in Florida we don't get much of a winter, and we always have to worry about having shaved legs.

I got to try the New Schick Hydro Silk Razor, and I was very pleased.  It was very gentle on my skin, and gave me a really close shave.
The Hydro Silk razor has a Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum & 5 Curve-Sensing blades.  The moisturizing part makes the razor feel very soft, and I do believe it moisturizes your skin as it shaves.

Disclosure: I received a free Schick Hydro Silk Razor from Bzz Agent in order to write this review.  I did not receive any other form of compensation.

Homemade Laundry Detergent Experiment

When I posted my review for 20 Mule Team Borax, I had so many readers telling me they use it to make their own laundry detergent.  I was very curious, and several of my awesome readers got me recipes for homemade laundry detergent.

So here's how it went:

I decided to try the recipe from Building It On Pennies.

The Ingredients

The boiling part.

All mixed together.

The final result.
The soap didn't "gel-up" like the recipe suggested, but she also said that it would work regardless.  So, I gave it a try, and used it on two loads so far, and I'm very pleased with it.
Thanks to my awesome readers for the suggestion to try it out!
