Luau 60th Birthday Party

As you may know, my sister and I love to throw themed birthday parties.  It's a lot of work, but the end result is always beautiful.

Our latest project:  A Luau Party for our Mom's 60th Birthday.

The rain decided to join us, so I didn't get pictures of everything I wanted, but this is what we had before the rain:

People were greeted with a Tiki Torch Entrance

The pictures make a 60, and the frame makes a great centerpiece.

You can't have a party without games, so my sister painted this awesome bean bag toss game.

This is one of the center pieces for the buffet

Some fun decorations around the yard

This was the gift table

Another great creation from my sister.  We made a direction sign so everyone knew where to go, and it looked great.

More decorations

We placed this box so everyone could share a story about my mom

We decorated another part of the yard with these beautiful paper flowers

This was a picture banner.  It is actually hanging on a set of lights.  We also had some hanging on string in other places.
It's harder to see in this pictures, but this is another way we displayed pictures.

We had a photo booth for everyone to bring home a memory

The Steel Drum player definitely put us in the party mood
Another display on the table

Unfortunately, since we had to move the party inside I didn't get to take pictures of the food, but I did manage to take a picture of these little cookie sandals.
And last, the beautiful birthday cake!  It was delicious too!
