AMF's Summer Unplugged and Summer Pass

AMF is offering their Free Bowling for Kids program again this year!

Spare your kids from boredom (and the heat)! You get Two free games every day for each child ages 15 and under registered in the Summer Unplugged program* (Shoe rental not included, but they’re worth paying for.)

Sign-up here for free bowling all summer long! http://bit.ly/AMFSummer

*You can register up to six children in the program. If you would like to add more children, you will need to create a new account using an alternate email address.

Summer Pass- Parents can join the fun too! The AMF Summer Pass is $34.95 and includes two games per day for the pass owner and up to three guests ages 16 and up. (Shoe rental not included) Sign-up here for AMF's Summer Pass! http://bit.ly/AMFSummer

We did this last year and it was great!  We made a point to go once a week, so we definitely made the $34.95 worth it, and the kids loved going bowling every week.

The kids have been asking for months if we are going to start going bowling again, and I think we are definitely going to sign up.

They made a few changes to improve the program this year:

    • One simple sign-up, no coupons to be emailed or printed! Simply present your membership card or your name at your local AMF center and you're all set to go!
    • Also new this year for Summer Unplugged members is the "Stay and Play" option. Additional games can be added for just $1.49! So if the competition is hot and the weather is hotter, you can keep the strikes coming and stay cool for less!
This was definitely once of our favorite summer activities last year.  What are some of your favorite activities with the kids?

Disclosure: I participated in this campaign as a member of One2One Network and am eligible for a prize drawing. All opinions stated in this post are my own.

    Elephant Themed Baby Shower

The latest party we organized was a baby shower for my younger sister.  My oldest sister and I decided to do a Pink Elephant Themed Baby Shower for her.

We had a lot of fun with the decorations again.
    Here it goes:

We didn't know the baby's name so I got a cute general banner from Etsy

Here's what the table looked like

This is a close up of one of the Elephant Center Pieces, very easy to make

The Elephant holds on a wooden stick you would use for kabobs

    Another one with gray ears

My mom made an awesome Diaper Cake Motorcycle, we got the idea from

My sister and niece made these cute Baby Face Cookies

My mom made this delicious Fruit Kabob arrangement.  The stand is a watermelon

We had a "Late Night Diapers" display where the guests could write little messages to the mommy to be to.  Some of the message said "CAUTION: Open at your own risks" or "Isn't it daddy's turn?"

This was another game where one of these mini diaper was "Poopy".  Whoever got the "poopy" diaper won

Then we finally had cake!  I made this Pink Elephant Cake

    Another view of the table

    Pretty Balloons

And everyone went home with these cute Baby Shower Favors. They have a little poem on them that says to light the candle when the baby is born

Food Should Taste Good Chips Review & Giveaway

I'm very excited with this review, it's not often you come across a delicious product that is healthy for you and your family.

The founder and COE Mr. Lescoe began creating distinctive flavors to give consumers new choices in all natural chips. The company has grown beyond anything Lescoe anticipated, now the #1 natural tortilla chip brand in the U.S. and Canada.

The Food Should Taste Good company sent us a very generous box with a sampler of their chips, and we couldn't wait to try them.

The snacks are created without trans fats, cholesterol, and artificial ingredients. They are certified gluten free, Kosher, low in sodium and are a good source of dietary fiber. All Tortilla Chips are certified vegan with the exception of Cheddar, White Cheddar and Chocolate.

I don't think anyone could ask more from a product!

First up, we tried the Sweet Potato Chips.

They were so crunchy and sweet with a hint of salty.  I loved them and so did my family.  I took them to school with me to eat with my lunch, they were perfect.

The kids really wanted to try the Chocolate chips, and I was pretty curious myself.

I really like that they are definitely still tortilla chips, and at the end you get a little hint of chocolate.  They tasted great, it's perfect as a snack.

We also got to try the Jalapeno ones and the Blue Corn, which were both delicious as well.  We ate the Blue Corn chips with hummus.  I would eat that every day.

Food Should Taste Good has many other types of chips including, Cheddar, White Cheddar, Multigrain, The Works!, Olive, Lime, Kettle Corn and more.  I can't wait to try them all.

If you like recipes, sweepstakes, and other fun stuff, make sure to sign up for their newsletter.
They have a fun Instant Win game going on right now.

BUY IT:  Their chips are available at many conventional and natural grocery stores throughout the U.S. and Canada or in their online store.

WIN IT: One Kids and Deals reader will win a Sample Box of Food Should Taste Good Chips.
