Good Cook Sweet Creations Chocolaty Chip Peanut Butter Mini Loaves & Giveaway

Are you ready for all the Holiday baking?

I love looking for new sweet treats to make for my family and friends.  Every year I make cookies and give them as presents to friends when we are invited to Christmas parties.
When I saw the Sweet Creations Mini Loaf Pan, I knew I was going to use it for what I'm going to give out this year.

I couldn't wait to start baking.  So I made some very yummy Chocolaty Chip Peanut Butter Mini Loaves.

So easy to prepare

Look how good they turned out.  The loaves came right out, no sticking.
And the pan was so easy to clean.

Then I wrapped them in this festive parchment paper

Perfect for gifts!

You can find this parchment paper on goodcook.com

It was a huge success with the kids, and I'm sure it will please a lot of people, who doesn't love Peanut Butter and Chocolate?

Datevitation the One-of-a-Kind Coupon Date Book Review & Giveaway

My husband has been asking me to make him a coupon book for years, but I could never think of clever things to include in the book.  I couldn't believe it when I heard about Datevitation. Datevitation is exactly what I needed to make my husband a fun coupon book.  You can make a book for any occasion.

Their website was very user friendly.  You can choose who to send the book to.

You can also choose whether it's romantic or not.

You can make a book for your kids as well.

Their website offers over 500 romantic date ideas.  There is something for every personality.

My favorite feature of their site is the personalization.  You can add your own faces to the characters!  So much fun.

This is the book I made for my husband.

I included some normal date stuff, and a few things he might appreciate like the one above.
"Win an argument, you're right, I'm wrong. Case Closed."

I was very happy with the quality, and I have no doubt it will make a great present.

Datevitation is a family business run by the husband-wife team of Alex and Olga Karpman.  You can get to know them on the Datevitation blog, where they offer video guides to date ideas and romantic gestures.   You can even watch Alex propose to Olga in a video they posted on Youtube as a Save The Date, and now has over 1.5 million views (you can view the video here)!

Yoplait Go-Gurt Review & $25 Target Gift Card Giveaway

My Kids love Go-GURT® Yogurt! It’s fun to eat, and has great tasting flavors.

As a mom I love that Go-GURT® is now made with natural colors and flavors, and contains no high-fructose corn syrup!

Go-GURT®  is also a good source of calcium, and vitamins A and D.

Did you know that you could freeze a Go-Gurt and it will be thawed by lunchtime!  Which makes it perfect for a school lunch.

Go-Gurts come in over 15 different flavors.  My kids favorites are Cool Cotton Candy and Phineas and Ferb Perry Berry.

See all the flavors HERE.

They love to pick the characters they like on their yogurts, so sometime we go with Phineas and Ferb, sometimes we go with SpongeBob.

Eiffel Tower Birthday Cake

I've posted before about different birthday cakes I've made, and I wanted to share my latest one.

I'm not a professional, nor have I taken any classes for cake decorating, this is really just for fun.

My niece went to France this summer, and she decided to decorate her bedroom in a Paris theme.

So I thought an Eiffel Towel Birthday cake would be appropriate.

Old El Paso Frozen Entree at Publix & Giveaway

You can now find premium, handcrafted, Old El Paso Frozen entrees for two in the freezer aisle of your local grocery store. Imagine coming home from work and digging into your favorite Mexican dish only to find delicious ingredients you can actually see including steak, chicken and rice. Talk about convenient—it’s the savory Mexican taste you love, without the hassle and ready in minutes!

With eight different flavors of fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and burritos, these entrees are sure to fulfill your dinner needs. On your way home from work tonight, swing by the store and head for the freezer aisle– your other half will thank you!

I decided to try the Chicken Enchiladas.  Seeing that there were 6 in the box, I thought it would be enough for an adult and a couple of kids, but it's really just for two. Even with just two adults eating that meal, you would want to add a salad or something else to the meal, because the enchiladas are very small.

I wasn't very impressed with the flavor either, but I'd be willing to try the other varieties.

Follow Old El Paso on facebook.

BUY IT: Available in the frozen aisle at Publix and other grocery stores for about $7.99.

GIVEAWAY: One Kids and Deals readers will win an Old El Paso prize pack that includes:
• One (1) coupon valid for one Old El Paso Frozen EntrĂ©e (value up to $7.99)
• Mexican Tile Chip and Dip Bowl and Serving Platter
• $10 Publix® Gift Card

Dress your Elf on the Shelf

Do you have an Elf on the Shelf?

We've had ours visit for a couple of years now, and it has become harder and harder to think of ideas of things he can "do".

So this year, my sister and I decided that we would dress our Elf on the Shelf!

I can't sew, and neither can she, so we bought some fabric and brought out our glue guns, and this is what we came up with.

It's not perfect when you look closely, but I have no doubt that the kids will be so excited when they see the different outfits, they won't notice the imperfections.

This is our Elf on the Shelf Superhero Outfit.

Some Pajama pants for another day.

With this outfit, we made him a little vest and ear muffs.

And finally, a sleeping bag, and pillow.

I can't wait for the kids to find him in the morning wearing his new outfits!

Do you have any ideas of what we can make next?
