NeoCell is the originator and industry authority on solutions that promote vital collagen health. They create products of the highest quality, integrity and efficacy based on the leading scientific body of knowledge and manufacturing processes. Healthy collagen is crucial to overall health.

I've heard of collagen health products before, and I was eager to try these two great products.

NeoCell Beauty Bursts are all-natural soft collagen chews that deliver the company's Super Collagen along with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. It's a supplement, but don't be fooled - you'll swear you're eating a treat.
They really taste like candy, they're delicious!  The Beauty Bursts help rebuild and rehydrate your skin, as well as provide Strong Hair & Nails.  I've been taking them for a couple of weeks, and I feel I can already start to see a difference in my skin, and especially my nails.
I love the simple ingredients
If you're not a fruit flavor person, they also come in Chocolate Mint flavor.
NeoCell Keratin Hair Volumizer is proof that better hair really can come in a pill. This breakthrough product utilizes Cynatine HNS, a patented form of solubilized keratin. That makes it easy for the body to absorb and utilize. These tablets also contain NeoCell's famous BioActive Super Collagen. Research suggests that collagen supplementation stimulates fibroblasts in the hair root, resulting in increased diameter of the hair shaft.
I need a lot of help with my hair, and after taking two a day for a few weeks, I feel that my hair is getting stronger and healthier.  I can't wait to see the results after a few more weeks.
  • NeoCell Keratin Hair Volumizer was named Best New Product in the Delicious Living 2014 Beauty and Body Awards.

#TheHappys Playdate

Have you seen the Happy's on TV?  They're the new playful pets that really play with you.

You can imagine my kids' excitement when they found out we were hosting a The Happy's party playdate.

Now imagine how much harder it was to keep everything in the box until the actual party.  They were begging me everyday to open the boxes, and let them play.
We got an amazing party pack with four happy's friends, Bentley, Chase, Mittens, and sport, and a play ball.  The pack also included crafts supplies for us to make pet ears, and we also got some delicious Werther's Original popcorn.
We had a good group on very excited kids!

After the craft, this little guy had some creative doggy ears.

And this angel was a cute kitten

The happy's have a few functions, and when you turn their play ball on, they all gravitate towards it.  After that the pets do a trick.

The pets come with a remote bone, which allows the kids to direct the pets where they want them to go

The kids got in a circle, and were racing their happy's.  They truly had a blast!

The Happy's will keep your kids busy for a while.  Those little pets are adorable.

They definitely enjoyed the yummy Werther's Original Caramel Popcorn.
I would be lying if I didn't say that enjoyed it quite a bit myself too.
Check out the The Happy’s dance, director’s cut:

Oubly Personalized Stationery Review

I'm always a fan of personalized products, and how I can I resist a name like Oubly? offers all kinds of stationery products personalized just for you.

They make a point to have lovely branded packaging, and great prices.

I couldn't wait to get started.  The toughest part was to decide what to make, everything looked so neat and professional.  They have cards for every occasion, as well as business stationery products.

We just had my daughter's birthday so we didn't need invitations, and it was too late for me to get Easter cards, though they had really cute looking ones.

So I settled on making address labels and business cards.

They had over two hundred designs to chose from!
I picked the Litany Blossom.  You can narrow your choices by profession, color, trims, shapes, you name it.

The personalization process was very easy.  They have text boxes in place, and you fill in your info.  You can change the font, size and color.  I only wish I could have moved around the text boxes, or their size to match my needs a little better.
You can also customize the back of your business card, add a logo or color, I really liked this part.
Also, if you don't need huge quantities, Oubly is perfect because they start their quantities at 2.

Next, I made address labels.  They had 28 designs.  I loved them all, but the Speech Bubble was calling my name.
Same thing with these, very easy to customize.  Simple and to the point.

The check out process was painless.  Verify your order, enter your address and payment, and you have it.
I have to say, I was pleased to see very low prices on their website.
Now, here's an awesome fact about Oubly.
They offer Free Shipping Wednesday!
And that's not all...
You get Free gifts with orders over $40!
A few days later, and my package arrived!  Very official!

Everything was perfect, exactly as I saw it on their website.  I can't wait to start using my business cards, and address labels.

I will definitely consider Oubly for my next holiday cards.  Family members always love picture cards, and Oubly has hundreds of options.

I also love that Oubly is committed to helping Non-Profits by offering $250 of free printing per year, 15% discounts, and more.

Old El Paso Frozen Entrees - No Way That's Frozen!

Look at what you can find in the freezer section of your grocery store.
Old El Paso Dinners.

You can get authentic Mexican right at home.
We decided to try the Enchiladas and Quesadillas.  They were so easy and quick to prepare, just a few minutes in the microwave.
It was perfect on a night where the kids had soccer practice, and I was very limited on time to prepare dinner.
Look at these yummy Quesadillas. The steak ones were my favorite.  I like that they are packaged separately, that way you can take a couple for lunch at work.
In less than 15 minutes, I had a Mexican dinner on the table.  The steak Enchiladas were a little spicy for the kids, so next time we'll stick with chicken.

And after dinner, it's time for mom and dad to have a cocktail!
Well, in our case it was smoothies, but whatever works for you.
Next time, I want to try their Fajitas!
Look for them at your local grocery store.

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Butterscotch Cookie Bars #BakeOff #Pillsbury

Every year I read about the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest, and I'm always so impressed with the recipes people come up with.
This year, Pillsbury sent me some products to celebrate the 47th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest, and I decided to challenge myself to come up with an original recipe.

I looked through last year's winning recipes, and got inspired to make my own cookie bars using the new gluten free cookie dough.
Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Butterscotch Cookie Bars
  • 1 package of Pillsbury Gluten Free Cookie Dough (softened)
  • 1 11oz package of butterscotch Chips
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • Caramel flavored sundae syrup (optional)
  • Place cookie dough on pan, roll out evenly.  Bake 13 minutes as directed on package.  Remove from oven; let cool 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat sweetened condensed milk in saucepan over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly until milk is hot and thin.
  • Reserve 1/4 cup butterscotch chips. Stir remaining butterscotch chips, and chocolate chips in hot mixture.  Stir constantly until blended.
  • Pour over cookie dough, sprinkle remaining butterscotch chips. Place in refrigerator 1 1/2 hours.
  • Optional: Drizzle with caramel syrup.

While I was making this recipe, dinner was in the crockpot using the Reynolds slow cooker liners.  The best part is knowing I will not have to scrub the crockpot!
You can still enter the Bake Off Contest!
Original recipes may be submitted online at now through May 8, 2014. The Bake-Off® Kitchens will evaluate all eligible entries and choose the top 100 recipes to compete at the 47th Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest Finals at the Omni Nashville Hotel on November 3, 2014.

Can you believe that Purex has finally invented a No Sort Laundry Detergent just for me?
Well, maybe not just for me, but it feels like it.

Lemon Yogurt Zucchini Bread

Thanks to Platefull co-op, I was recently introduced to the New Liberté Méditerranée Yogurts.
Let me tell you, I'd seen them at the store, but never tried them before.  After trying them, I was sorry I hadn't tried them sooner.  They were delicious!  So creamy, such a treat!
My favorite was definitely the coconut flavor, however, I have yet to find a flavor I didn't like.  I even went back to the store to get more, after I ate the first four.
I wanted to take these tasty yogurts a step further, and incorporate them into one of my popular recipes.  Well, popular with my kids at least.
So I came up with a Lemon Yogurt Zucchini Bread recipe using Liberté Méditerranée Yogurts.
Lemon Yogurt Zucchini Bread:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • One 6 oz Lemon flavor Liberté Yogurt
  • 1 cup coarsely grated zucchini
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour a 9- by 4 1/2-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a medium bowl, mix the sugar with the eggs, vegetable oil, and yogurt. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients along with the grated zucchini and stir until the batter is evenly moistened.
  3. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, until the loaf is risen and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the loaf cool on a rack for 30 minutes before unmolding and serving.

It come out very creamy, and definitely kid friendly.
Find the New Liberté Méditerranée Yogurts at your local grocery store.
Keep an eye out for their new Lime and Orange-Mango Flavors, and their Greek variety.

A Minecraft Birthday Party

Welcome to my latest themed party!

This time we planned a surprise Minecraft Birthday Party.

What I loved about planning this party was that it can be prepared quickly and it can be kept very affordable.  Make a trip to the Dollar Tree, and buy everything green that you can find, you can turn it all into a Minecraft theme.

The door is simply a table cloth with black construction paper, and black duct tape. Really you could omit the construction paper, and make it all in duct tape.

These were used as decorations, but they can also be used as favor bags.  Just buy green paper bags, and glue black construction paper on them.

Above are some different decorations we had around the house.
  • Top left is a poster board with different color construction paper.
  • Top right are some decorations above the food table.
  • Bottom left is a plastic box found at Dollar Tree with construction paper on each sides, perfect to hold silver wear.
  • Finally, bottom right is a Minecraft "tree", green chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick.

Hang Minecraft balloons around the house.
I used black duct tape on the balloons.

Some Minecraft themed snacks.

The coal is made of rice krispie treats with black food coloring.

This was made by my brother's girlfriend.
The top is a Minecraft cake and bottom layer is a Mario inspired.

Finally, the kiddos had to match the theme too!
Green shirts and duct tape!

Are you ready for your Minecraft party?

This party was inspired by ideas on Pinterest and other sites.
