Decorated Light Switch Covers with the Craft Mat by Ultra PRO Review & Giveaway #UltraProPDMS

As I was getting ready to make my decorated light switch covers, I was so excited about not having to worry about having a flat surface.  Ultra Pro sent me their Craft Mat, and I thought it would be the perfect time to try it.

The Craft Mat helps keep your crafting space clean!  I love that the premium fabric surface is washable for easy clean-up.  It also has a rubber backing to prevents shifting during use and allows the mat to lay flat.

The Mat dimensions are 23-3/4" x 13-1/2", and comes packaged in a clear Tube which can used for storing art work too.

The Craft Mat is acid and PVC free and is made in the USA.

For the light switch covers you will need:
  • Mod Podge
  • X-Acto Knife or sharp scissors
  • Scrapbook Paper of your choice

Cut the paper a little bigger than your cover

Brush Mod Podge on the front of the cover, and the back of your paper

Cut a hole for your light switch then fold the sides over smoothly

brush more Mod Podge to cover the cover

Once the back is dry, brush 2 good layers of Mod Podge over the front

Make sure to let dry completely, at least two hours before placing back on your wall

The Craft Mat was very useful for this project, I loved using it, and it truly was very easy to clean up.
