McDonald's "Restaurant of the Future" #CreateYourTaste Event

Last week, my family and I got to attend a fun event in Clearwater, FL hosted by McDonald's of Tampa Bay to celebrate their new restaurant concept with the “Create Your Taste” menu.

The Create Your Taste concept allows you to completely personalize your burger using in-restaurant kiosks.

Individual burgers are delivered to your table by McDonald’s crew members, allowing you to relax and enjoy the custom dining experience.

At the Kiosk, you can easily personalize your burger by choosing from a variety of toppings including American cheese, natural sharp white Cheddar and natural pepper jack cheese, buttered and toasted artisan roll and bakery style bun, Big Mac special sauce, spicy mayo, creamy garlic sauce, sweet BBQ sauce, preservative-free guacamole, jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, thick cut Applewood smoked bacon, crisp red onion, caramelized grilled onions, chili lime tortilla strips and crinkle cut pickles.

Each quarter-pound is made of 100 percent USDA beef patty.  It's presented open-faced in a nice metal basket so you can see all the great ingredients you selected.

I decided to try one of their already built burgers, the SoCal Burger, which has guacamole, chili lime tortilla strips and more.  It tasted great, and was very filling.

I loved using the Kiosk, it was very easy to use.  I ordered all the kids' meals on it too, which made it very convenient when they were selecting each item in their Happy Meal.

We got spoiled with a visit from Ronald McDonald's.  Ronald entertained everyone with juggling acts and trivia questions.  He even autographed the shirts the kids won.

This was a dream come true for my kids.  They got to visit behind the counter and make their own customized Sundae.

We had a great time, and I can't wait to see more kiosks appear in McDonald's around Tampa Bay.

I want to give a huge Thank You to McDonald's Tampa Bay for having us over, the kids will remember this visit forever.

Disclosure: I was invited by McDonald's to participate in this free event, as well as receive free gifts.  However, all opinions 100% mine.
