McDONALD’S OF TAMPA BAY LAUNCHES ONE OF
THE FIRST-TO-MARKET CHICKEN BURGERS
McDonald’s of Tampa Bay unveils the latest in burger innovation by introducing one of the first-to-market ground Chicken Burgers.
Only local participating Tampa Bay McDonald’s customers will get the first taste of a unique and satisfying burger experience, using quality ground chicken (with no artificial colors or flavors). Created and crafted by local Tampa Bay McDonald’s Owner/Operators in partnership with their chicken supplier, Keystone Foods, the new Chicken Burger is grilled to perfection and perfectly complemented with tasty veggies and tempting, savory sauces all carefully assembled on a new gourmet bun.
I visited my local McDonald's to be one of the first to try the New Chicken Burger.
The chicken burger comes in two options, The Classic and The Signature.
- The Classic starts with a quarter pound ground chicken patty, topped with red onions, lettuce, tomatoes and Ranch sauce. The Classic Chicken Burger has 390 calories
- The Signature is the same juicy ground chicken patty, offering grilled onions with lettuce, tomatoes and a tangy and sweet “Signature” sauce. The Signature Chicken Burger has 400 calories.
- Both burgers are crafted using a new gourmet bun. Each also offers 28 grams of protein.
I tried the Signature Chicken Burger and it tasted great. I was a little skeptical at first, but the grilled onions and "signature" sauce gave it great flavor. Topped with the gourmet bun, I can't wait to try the Classic next time.
Did you know? You can substitute a chicken burger patty on a comparable beef sandwich, though an upcharge may apply.
